The apps, and what each one needs
Snag captures bugs from the browser or a phone and needs only the extension or the store app. FlowQA Desktop records tests and bundles its own browser, so the installer is large: about 440 MB on Mac and 480 MB on Windows, and it updates itself afterwards. Running tests, triage and settings work in the browser with nothing installed. One account signs in to all of it.

Bug capture where the bug happens
The extension keeps the last steps, the console and the network while you browse, and files them with a screenshot or a short recording in one click. The phone apps file from a share sheet, into the same board.

The desktop app records; the web runs
FlowQA Desktop records tests in a real browser and runs them on your own machine for free, including sites behind a VPN or on localhost. Mac copies update themselves. The web workbench runs tests on cloud browsers from any machine.
For coding agents
Nothing to download: connect over MCP
Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients connect to Snag and FlowQA with a personal access token from your account settings. The agent reads snags, runs the covering tests and marks the fix verified from its own session. Set up MCP.
